At Steamboat Craft Studio, our vision is to ignite the creative spark in every individual. We aspire to be a vibrant hub fostering a community where artistic expression flourishes and imagination knows no bounds. We believe that everyone should express themselves creatively, and that the experience of creating is more important than the finished product.
Skill is not a requirement; just the ability to believe in the process and open yourself up to your innate creative wisdom.
Meet Valerie
Valerie is a lifelong crafter who started working on her first scrapbook at the age of 14. Preserving moments and memories has always been important to Valerie. “There’s something cathartic about assembling bits and pieces of your life. You get to relive the joy of the experience again and then again each time you share the project with someone else.”
Valerie served as the Art Director at a Girl Scout summer camp where she received training on the technical skills of various arts and crafts projects. She also enjoys teaching and coaching in a variety of settings. Valerie’s passion is in paper crafts, including scrapbooking and card making. She also has skills in tie dye, screen printing, candle making, watercolor, cross-stitch, pottery, and more.
