Schedule a 1:1 coaching session, and our experienced instructors will guide you through every step, from selecting the perfect materials to mastering various techniques. Coaching sessions are directed by you, and include a wide variety of projects and mediums. Some popular coaching projects are scrapbooking, card making, luminaries and decoupage, candle making, screen printing, and stenciling. Have another idea in mind? Just propose it to your coach and we’ll let you know if it’s in our skill set or refer you to another artist in town.

It’s time to turn that clutter into art! Dig out that box and schedule a free 20-minute consultation. We will learn about your vision, recommend a project that meets your needs, and provide a quote. Let us finish that project you’ve been “meaning to get to” for years!

Workshops provide all the materials you need to go home with your own project, so you aren’t required to bring anything! Some people have an idea for what they would like to create and bring items such as already printed pictures, mementos, or embellishments they would like to include. And if you just have to have your favorite pen or other supply, bring that too! Feel free to also bring your laptop or tablet for taking notes or having access to your personal files or ideas. For the Warm Wishes Workshop, bringing a phone, tablet, or laptop is highly recommended. Please note that we are not able to print photos during workshops. If you are signed up for a workshop and would like to have your photos printed ahead of time, please reach out to workshops@steamboatcraftstudio.com.

Workshops will walk you through the basics of the craft project. Together we will explore techniques and experiment with design. You will begin your project and end with something to take home with you. Everyone crafts at their own pace. Some days you might be filled with inspiration and have a clear vision and be able to complete your project during the workshop. Other times it might take more experimenting and time for ideas to come together, so you may leave with just the beginning of a project. Whatever your experience, you are sure to gain new insight and tap into your creative potential.

All personalized projects are tailored to meet your needs, so costs can vary widely from one project to the next. You will be provided a quote before scheduling your project, so there are no surprise costs. If you have a specific budget in mind, please let us know in your initial consultation so we can help point you to the project that fits your budget.
